Keeping up to date

This page will be updated with information throughout July to keep you up-to-date on relevant information and messaging.

Youth Support Services Agreement

Once your child reaches the age of 13 or older, we are required by law to share certain information with providers of youth support services in your area. This is the local authority support service for young people aged 13 to 19 in England. We must provide both the child’s and parent’s name(s) and address, and any further information relevant to the support services’ role.

However, if the child is over 16, the child (or the parent(s)) can request that no information beyond their name, address, and date of birth be shared with the support service. To opt out, please decline the relevant 'consent' via the Arbor Parent App. For more information about young people’s services, please go to the Directgov Young People page at: Support For Children & Young People: Detailed Information.
