On 19th November,  our year 10 GCSE Dance students and Year 12 BTEC Performing Arts students were lucky enough to take part in dance workshops given by Maybe Carroll, Dorna Ashory and Iolanda Portogallo, 3 dance artists from the company of Donuts, created by Extended Play & choreographer Jamaal Burkmar.  The students worked in trios to learn the repertoire from one of the sections of the professional dance work.  We all really enjoyed challenging ourselves to learn something from the show that will be featured at Pavilion Dance South West this weekend. This linked really well into the physical theatre work that the BTEC students are currently studying and the street dance style that year 10 will be looking at in more depth next term.  Thanks to Pavilion Dance South West for organising for us as one of their Dream Associate Schools.
